Address growing affordability issues
South Dakota is feeling the same squeeze as the rest of the country. Groceries are getting more expensive, budgets are being stretched thin, and rent has increased over 50% in some areas in five short years. I will work across the aisle with my fellow legislators to find common sense solutions to the growing affordability crisis facing the state.
Increased Transparency in Medical Services
From the initial intake to the final billing process, making sense of medical processes can be a struggle on a good day. I intend to sponsor multiple pieces of legislation to ensure that you're getting a clear picture of your medical costs, long before the bill comes due.
Opposition to AI Data Centers
This is a human-run campaign, with no AI generated text or images. Data centers are an important part of our modern connected world, but artificial intelligence data needs can run up high costs that the consumer ends up having to pay. While there's room in the state for technology businesses, I intend to fight to keep AI data centers out.
